quite quickly

So, things have happened since my last post and always do. But, for Me a number of very interesting things happened that I was privileged to take part in.

I went to a poetry reading featuring two young woman Poets. One of which I'd met briefly before and another I'd heard at a different venue earlier. It was interesting and very special. I'm not certain how those two Poets would relate themselves to entirety of contemporary female poets, but, as individuals, I found Them to be revealing.

I also attended a Poet night (that was coincidentally accompanied by a live folk duo) at Under the Umbrella. A small but stately establishment toward the edge of Denver. A number of Poets read and shared spoken word. A Poet named Ed played a new flute. Afterward there was a sharing of emails and adding to mailing-lists by individuals involved in publications. In all, the night really seemed to cement a sense of cooperative community in some ways. While presenting convincing hints of the subtleties of these individuals.

I hope to hear and see more of the same Poets and new ones.
