progression
I'm going to be the Featured Poet next month at Under the Umbrella. The reading is the last Saturday of the month and there is an opportunity for a sort 'open-mike' or 'round-robin'. The format is greatly dependant on who shows up.
It would be great to see new faces and I hope that all the regulars can be there also.
I've been doing some reading (in general You can find an up-to-date list of reading on my Facebook page) and been listening to some loaned records.
The records started with a couple that I found in a store in historic Golden (Fleetwood Mac & Styx). Then a friend helped Me to find a record player and loaned Me a number of other records to listen to.
Exciting stuff, but winter approaches and I prefer to walk/run/skateboard/bicycle or bus (when available), so I'm looking for some changes or warm clothes, though I don't intend to leave the Denver area until the Antarctica position (or the general time for it -there are some people I've been talking with about visiting).
There is a philosophy group that has been mentioned a few times and if I do decide to visit it I may begin to post discussion style topics.
-either way I appreciate the replies and comments.
:)

to call this one
So, there is a link, to the right under own this, to my most recent book available.
It's an interesting thing I hope is enjoyed immensely.
Paper work is almost done for Antarctica.
I'm working on a something to release maybe by the end of the month or the beginning of next month.
There are a number of things going on that I'm not certain of details on.
Seth (an interesting individual I've heard read and perform, percussion & vocal) is to be reading at a museum in Loveland, CO. Also, around the same time I'll finally get to meet Stewart. I've read some of his poetry and am looking forward to it.
I'll be returning to the Greenhouse Gas study in some capacity in September and I'm excited about that.
I still don't have a full-capacity publisher yet. My thoughts to-date are that finding a compatible would be mostly beneficial. I'm still hoping to slip into the list of Writers inside the shelter of Soft Skull Press. I'll probably send something next month.
I'm working with a local Performance Poet (Kit) to secure future consideration(s) that may allow Me to tour (readings, etc.) after I return from Antarctica or at least around that time (February 2009).
I hope You have a great day.

things
To do, to do, to do.
Unfortunately I don't have internet access in the room where I'm staying, so I haven't been posting as often as I'd hoped to.
The poetry (writing) community here in Denver has continued to be very welcoming and inspiring in a number of ways. (One of my poems received publications recently and the link can be found to the right with others.)
I also was hired for the position I applied for in Antarctica. It is an alternate position, so I may not get to go, but then again -
There is a work with fiction by Me that was released on 08/08/08. I hope to post links soon.
I hope to post more soon and I hope that I will begin to receive contact from readers.
I hope You have a great day.
